BBVA Completes Global Cloud Migration with New AI Platform

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. (NYSE:BBVA) has completed its global transition to cloud computing infrastructure. The company announced on December 12 that it successfully implemented its new data and artificial intelligence platform across all international operations.

The platform, called ADA (Analytics + Data + AI), was built using Amazon Web Services technology. Company officials stated the system became fully operational throughout all geographic markets in 2025. The cloud-native data infrastructure now serves as the common platform for the entire banking group.

Financial analysts have been updating their assessments of the Spanish bank in recent weeks. Bank of America Securities reiterated a Buy rating on January 9, setting a price target of €24.30. Morgan Stanley reaffirmed a Hold rating on January 5 with a €20.70 price target.

Goldman Sachs added BBVA to its European Conviction List on the same day. In its monthly update to investors, the firm projected the bank would achieve double the sales growth of the banking sector in 2026. Analysts cited the bank's presence in high-growth markets including South America and Mexico as supporting this outlook.

BBVA maintains its headquarters in Madrid, Spain. The bank operates traditional banking services including asset management, retail banking, private banking, and wholesale banking across multiple regions. Its business activities span the United States, Spain, Mexico, Turkey, South America, and other Eurasian markets.
