The Monday online auction conducted by The Seam resulted in sales of 21,284 bales at 60.09 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index remained steady on January 12 at 74.45 cents.
ICE certified cotton stocks decreased by 481 bales on January 12, bringing the certified stocks level to 11,029 bales. The Adjusted World Price was updated to 50.97 cents per pound on Thursday afternoon, marking an increase of 21 points from the previous week.
