During a recent episode of his show, financial commentator Jim Cramer addressed a question about GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE: GEV). A caller asked if Cramer still favored the company.
Cramer responded by saying he was glad the stock was mentioned. He noted he had looked at it that day and saw it was down in price. "I say that's ridiculous," Cramer stated. "This company is on fire."
He described GE Vernova's business, which involves natural gas turbines and nuclear technology. Cramer called it ridiculous that the stock had declined since the beginning of the year. He added that his Charitable Trust owns the stock and called it one of his absolute favorites.
GE Vernova provides products and services for generating, converting, storing, and managing electricity. Its technologies include gas, nuclear, hydro, and wind.
In the same December 15, 2025 episode, Cramer further commented on the company's nuclear operations. "After all, if you want to build a small-scale nuclear reactor, why not just go with GE Vernova, very established, mature company that's actually building these?" he said.
Cramer referenced the Darlington nuclear generating station, for which GE Vernova received approval to start construction in April. He mentioned seeing pictures that indicated progress. "Hey, by the way, four years is an incredibly fast turnaround, and that's when it's going to open. I doubt any of the newbies can come up with that," Cramer remarked.
