Constellation Completes Calpine Acquisition to Form Largest U.S. Power Producer
Constellation has finalized its acquisition of Calpine, creating the nation's largest electricity producer. The deal, valued at $26.6 billion including debt, was completed on January 7 after antitrust settlements required divestitures of six power plants.
